Stretch
Before warming up on the tumble strip and practice floor, team strech out by adding 1 or 2 additional mats to your warm up area.
The purpose of a stretch mat is to provide a comfortable, cushioned surface for athletes to perform stretching exercises, warm-ups, and cool-downs. It helps reduce the risk of injury by providing support and stability during flexibility exercises, improving balance and comfort. Stretch mats also protect the body from hard or uneven surfaces, ensuring that athletes can safely extend their range of motion, improve flexibility, and prepare their muscles for more intense physical activities like cheerleading, gymnastics, or other sports.
